Foundation of Armenian Society of Los Angeles started with Women Chapter. Being the most active chapter, our Women Chapter among many activities created and monitors two very important projects in Mother Land, Armenia, extending helping hand to orphans in their struggle to stan in school. Established in 1983 "Save-A-Child" and "Educational Fund" projects helped thousands of orphans and continue their mission.

Other major activities can be highlighted:

  • Monthly Gathering - takes place 1st Monday of each moth with lectures on different subjects and slide shows
  • Traditional celectrations - Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Armenian Christmas, Easter, and Annual Bazaar
  • Presentation of Art Show - Craft Jewelry Embroidery, and etc.
  • Tours to interesting sites
  • Save-A-Child in Armenia - established on October 10, 1983; it helps financially the orphan children in Armenia
  • Educational Fund - established in 1983 - 1984; it helps financially the schools in Armenia
